License abuse refers to the unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of GroupDocs software or license files. Such actions violate the End User License Agreement, infringe on copyright, and compromise intellectual property rights.
Using unauthorized or tampered software puts users at risk. It may:
Block access to updates, bug fixes, or technical support.
Introduce security vulnerabilities due to code manipulation.
Lead to legal consequences and service disruption.
GroupDocs actively monitors for exposed license files and may blacklist any compromised licenses without notice. Affected licenses will only be reinstated after the public exposure is removed.
We urge customers to avoid accidental license exposure—especially when:
Sharing projects that bundle GroupDocs products.
Using public source control repositories (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
If you suspect a violation of GroupDocs licensing, please report it using the form below.
All fields are optional, so you may submit anonymously. However, providing detailed information and contact details helps us investigate and take appropriate action more efficiently.
GroupDocs appreciates your efforts in helping us protect the integrity of our software and our customer community.
